Funeral

I’m not trying to be morbid. In contrary, I think this is a hopeful act.

I’d like to let go of this self who spent 14 years living in Canada, all her experiences, whether it be happy or melancholic… at the same time, I’d like to remember who she was, and take the lessons she learnt with me. A funeral is a ritual where life is being celebrated. Through the process of letting go of the past, I’d like my new life to be stronger, and less fearful of what the future holds for me.
